InteliTrack™ Dual-Axis Solar Tracking

We took a whole new approach to dual-axis tracking. Instead of mounting the PV array on top of a pole that requires a large, heavy concrete base to keep it upright, we put it near ground and suspended it like a gimbaled ship’s compass – always in balance. 

This patent-pending Balanced/Frame™ approach has several direct cost benefits:

  • little or no concrete is required for support
  • the structure, bearings and actuators are lightweight
  • assembly is quick and easy
  • no cranes or heavy earth-moving equipment are needed
  • minimal energy is used to move the array

Single-Axis Fixed at Latitude - The InteliTrack IT1800 is an East-West deployed, single-axis tracking system. Unlike horizontal single-axis trackers, the IT1800 is tilted according to your project’s latitude, generating 10% to 15% more energy than a horizontal tracker. MORE >

Dual-Axis Manually Adjusted 2nd axis - The InteliTrack 2000A is designed to be adjusted 2 to 4 times per year to achieve near dual-axis performance at a lower cost. MORE >

Rooftops and Parking Structures

The InteliTrack IT1500 is a highly modular dual-axis tracker designed expressly for lightweight applications. It can be ballast-mounted on flat roofs, so no penetration is required. It also comes in a configuration for mounting directly onto parking shade structures enabling greater power production than fixed racking.
