Jacques Seronde - Director, Rural Initiatives
For more than 30 years, Jacques has worked with Native American and other rural communities, schools and governments to develop sustainable, local development projects. He combines strong strategic planning skills with a deep knowledge of project planning, management and finance, and sustainable economic development.
In his roles at SEL, Jacques oversees the sustainability program and works to develop mutually beneficial partnerships with rural communities that provide off-grid power and local employment. He has a BS in plant biology from Northern Arizona University and studied philosophy, anthropology, French and art at Yale University.
